WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM THE PROFESSOR OF MONEY HEIST?

THE PROFESSOR

Professors are generally considered the most essential part of everyone’s life. They make a career out of imparting knowledge and wisdom, and they’re often seen as the ones who can inspire people to do great things. But over time, this has shifted in people’s minds—teachers are no longer just teachers. They’re more like family, trusted advisers, and even advisers to your boss.

We can learn something from the character of Money Heist. The Professor (Sergio Marquina), played by Álvaro Morte, is a fictional character in the Netflix series Money Heist. The mastermind behind La Casa de Papel has enlightened us about some great life lessons.

Here are some of them:

1) Always keep your promises :

The Professor has made many promises to his family, friends, and partners over the years but was not kept because he was too busy with other things. However, it was only when he decided to take care of his family that he started keeping his promises again.

2) Do what you love :

The Professor was an expert in art and architecture but he never showed interest in either one until he became a father and suddenly knew what he wanted to do with his life: create art from paper! What an inspiration! We should all start doing something we love today so that we can enjoy tomorrow’s achievements.

3) Self Belief :

Self-belief is the positive feeling you have inside that you are capable of anything. You feel empowered, confident, and fueled with virility in the face of challenges and problems. And those who haven’t got it, those with negative self-belief, probably let many things go by undone.

When you live your life with a high level of self-belief, nothing can stop you from achieving your goals. If there is a wall in front of you, all it takes is a little bit of effort and determination to break through it.

Life just isn’t fair sometimes but if you want to succeed in life, then it’s time to start believing that everything can be done!

It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”

Williams Shakespeare

In Money Heist, when Professor starts his gang, some of them had no idea what to do in life. They were doing the wrong things to survive and had doubts, and lacked self-faith. But in the series, the words of Álvaro Morte and inspiring persona are an embrocation to those who don’t have self-belief.

4) Always Be Patient in every situation :

I used to be pretty impulsive by nature. I’ve always reacted quickly, panicked easily, and got angry in no time at all.

But then I met The Professor, and he showed me that the only way to make out of a tough situation is to keep your cool—even if it’s hard.

It’s kind of rare in La Casa de Papel to see him lose his cool—he’s always calm and composed.

The art of staying cool and composed is something that everyone should imbibe from the most intelligent man on the show.

Mistakes and pressure are inevitable; the secret to getting past them is to stay calm.” —

Travis Bradberry.

5) He is a master of psychology :

In today’s society, we are constantly exposed to a variety of different ideas and beliefs. The ability to analyze and evaluate these ideas is an essential skill for any person to have. Having the ability to think critically and challenge yourself is a great way to grow as a person, but it also helps you develop your own unique perspective on things.

The professor can easily play with others’ minds and that is quite impressive I say it must possess the necessary skills to learn in all areas of life.

6) No matter how team members are, you need to get work out of it.

This lesson applies to all. Often when we have projects In school or have to work as a team In the office, there arise differences. Sometimes, everything comes on one member, or there will be someone trying to bring another person down. All this leads to one big thing — FAILURE.

Sometimes, it may seem like the other person does not want to work with us, but that is not necessarily true. It could be that they are just not feeling well and cannot concentrate on their work or even participate in it fully. This is where you need to be patient and understanding because you don’t want to just give up on them because they are not participating in the work like they should!

You can also help them by letting them know why you need their input. This will help them feel more comfortable about sharing their ideas with you and make them more likely to participate in your project.

In La Casa de Papel, Professor is the glue that holds together everyone even though he’s not physically present there. Every time, the gang member have gone against each other, or one person tried to take the lead, plans have gone haywire. During such times, Professor taught them and us why a team should work together to get a desirable outcome.

7) Planning one step ahead :

We all joke about the phrase ‘Everything is a part of the plan’. This happens whenever things go wrong in Money Heist, and the professor says those words. But here’s an important lesson to learn from him. It shows how the Professor thinks ten steps ahead of everyone around him. He prepares himself for loss and failure. He feels terrible when things go out of his hand, but he already knows what to do next.

Always think at least two steps ahead in everything, with everyone.“

— AJ Darkholme.

Similarly in life, one should not give up. They should be focused so much that they think of every possible outcome that can come as an obstacle in their path. That’s how one learns to master the art of success!

In the end…..

Hope you have learned something today, These things may help you to live better than today. If there’s someone who didn’t watch the series, I strongly suggest you watch it. Because it consists of many more things which I didn’t mention here.
