TRUE STORIES TO LEARN ABOUT THE GAME OF LIFE.

THE GAME OF LIFE

I know you would not believe but it’s actually a game called a game of life. In which a person travels through their life, from early adulthood to retirement, with college if necessary, jobs, marriage, and possible children along the way. Depending on the version, up to six players can participate in a single game. Variations of the game accommodate up to ten players. Today let’s see what this game means and what it teaches us through the story of some real-life examples.

Once there was a city like any other story ( you can imagine now by yourself). 5 friends who live in the same small town went to college for graduation. Yes no one’s rich or poor than others, no one’s more smart or dumb than another, no one’s extra fat or thin than others, looked like brothers. Life goes well and smoothly as it goes for everyone till college time. (yes hard to believe but it’s true)But as we know real life starts after graduation.

Real learning begins after class learning is over.
The game of life starts after the day of the graduation ceremony.

One friend decided to be the richest man, the second friend decided to be as fit and healthy as possible, the third friend decided to be famous celebrity, the fourth one decided to be a dedicated full-time smartest scientist, and here comes the fifth, no he didn’t decide as much as other decided. He decided to go with the flow and take small steps in each direction to check if it’s works!

LIFE CIRCLE

Now the game of life begins after each decides something about their lives. Just like a movie and some songs(like Sooryavansham, I suppose everyone watches it) fast forward to their lives to see what happens to each of them after 20 years in their respective decisions made at the moment.

  • The First one runs after becoming the richest man on earth, and he becomes the richest and can buy anything that he wants in the world. He owns more than 5 multi-billion dollar companies. Nothing is impossible for him to purchase. He owns a beachside villa, multi-crore worth cars, a private jet, a helicopter, and any other things that you can imagine a billionaire would have. He is so much obsessed with money now that he never stops to run after it. He has a family but no time to spend with them, he has properties in many countries but no time to visit even once in some of his homes. He is not fit as he needs to be healthy. He compromises his health for wealth. He never gives priority to other things in life except for money. Even though he enjoys his journey and traveling that he is doing right now.

A real-life example of this is “The Big Bull” of India, Rakesh Junjunwala. He always prioritizes wealth over health. We all know he is happy with the way he lives but he said, “My worst investment has been my health. I would encourage everybody to invest the most in that.

  • The second man wants to be the fittest man on earth. He is the fittest and healthiest athlete right now. He won 8 gold medals for running in the Olympics and achieved many other trophies and rewards for his fitness and health. He is also the fitness coach for others to be fit like him. He has a wife and children. He is not much wealthy and gives time to his family as well. Even though he enjoys his journey and traveling his life’s highway to be a health freak.

A real-life example of this is Kobe Bryant, a famous and dedicated basketball player of all time. He is completely a health freak who focuses more on practice than anything else. But as he said he enjoyed every moment of his practice more than his match.

  • The third one wants to be a networking king and be famous to be acknowledged by many people in this world. And he is a famous celebrity to be known to many people and has fun with his big following fans at many parties and concerts. He has a big house with a big family and a group of friends. He is not the richest, fittest but he enjoys his stardom and popularity among the people.

A real-life example of this is R. Madhavan. He is so down-earth celebrity and a person who knows that everything is the same after some limit. It’s important to put stop profit in earning. Everyone starts but has no end. He also enjoys his life with all certainty.

  • The fourth one wants to be the scientist and the smartest person in the world. He is now the smartest scientist and he had 5 PhDs in the physics field. He is the main researcher in quantum physics. He is not married and has no family or friends in his life. He spends his life only in physics. He is married to his career. He won’t have time for his health and he doesn’t have so much wealth. He just has a smart brain to do something for science. Although he is happy to be the man he is and enjoying his journey of being a weirdo scientist.

A real-life example of this is Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He lived his whole life for science. He took only two off days in his entire career. And those are for his father’s and mother’s death. That’s it, he was a complete science enthusiast. He didn’t want money or fame or family. he just wanted to change the face of India in science. He enjoyed so much his entire life and his work dedication towards science and rockets.

  • And finally here comes the fifth, the one who had not decided about what he wanted from his life and had no path to follow in life. He becomes an employee of a big company (just imagine Google, and he didn’t lose his job in the recession) he is having a good salary, he has a wife and 2 children, and one house in the city. He is not the richest but he lives a pretty good life with his earnings. He has all the facilities that a normal person can desire. He is not the fittest but he goes to the gym daily so he is fit to be healthy. He is not the smartest but he knows how to solve day to day problems of his life and his family. He is a not famous celebrity but he has some friends and colleagues to understand him in his good or bad phases. Again the important thing is he also enjoys his life’s journey.

A real-life example of this is anybody you can see. You, me, or most of the people around us. these people are also happy people.

The point is to be happy with yourself and with what you have is the key to the win in the game of life.

Now the question is who do you think is winning in the game of life? Who do you prefer to be in this game and why?
